Just returned from a weekend at Lake Rudolph Campground in Santa Claus, Indiana.  I know....sounds cheesy.  The whole town is way small.  The theme park (Holiday World) has three good roller coasters and a fantastic water park.  The whole place is sparkling clean.  The employees are very friendly and very concerned with the customers' having fun.  We were very impressed.  The campground was way clean, very wooded, and the sits were very nice and pretty big.  I saw lots of other popups.  This time of year it wasn't over crowded, and we decided immediately to take at least two more trips there this summer.

Just though I'd share a great experience we had in case any of you were looking for a place to go.  If you like theme parks and water parks.....this is the place to go.

Have camped at Rudolph also, for the sake of the kids.  It was clean and nicely kept, but certainly lacked that woodsy feel.  I didn't stop by, but have heard that Lincoln State Park (about 10 miles from Holiday World) is a better camping experience.

We stayed at Lake Rudolph Campground June 2008 and thought the campground was very nice and clean.  Holiday World was great.  The staff were super friendly and the park was soo clean.  Would highly recommend this campground and park.

Last time I camped there I was 17...that was 1973, when the partk was called Santa Claus Land, and was geared to smaller children at that time, then they got bought out and the more teen/adult rides were brought in.  We have 40 acres not too far from there, so we can get a rustic camping experience when in the area (we now live in Delaware), but we usually stay at a motel in Dale...Have never been into the SPs around there.
