plastic ripping on canvas

howdy alll you pup owners need some idea's. have a 96 rockwood premier 1910 and the plastic window on the canvas is starting to rip along the zipper was just curious if anyone has ever found a way to fix this or keep it from riping further short of not using the window .. thanks...

Is it the actual isinglass (plastic window) that is ripping or is It the zipper material?

i would say its the zipper material it's right were the platsitc meets the were its sew'd to the zipper its about 1/2 inch tear wear its pulling away from the zipper . thanks for the reply

That's just a matter of removing the canvas and either sew webbing over that part of the zipper as a patch or sew in an entire new zipper (if the tear is too close to the teeth of the zipper). It's really not hard but if you can't do it, take it to an awning or canvas shop. :sombraro:
