If the KOA is the location is chosen for the 2008 Halloween Rally, we'll have to see how many want full hook ups or partial. If anyone wants no hookups (Waverly), they won't be located within the group.

Kim has the Wagonmaster hat on so lets get this thing going. We're in for a hook up site.

Here's a bright idea.....Why not stage a small rally at this KOA when it cools down, that way whoever wants to check it out a year ahead of time can do so?

I want full H/U's please..But please check on the campfire thing ..that might be a deal breaker

I just called the KOA and they DO allow fires as long as they are in a firepit with the grate around it. DOES THIS MEAN DEE THAT YOU ARE STILL IN? As for the dry camping I mentioned earlier, those sites have only water and the price is $23/night (23x2=$46 for 2 nites). These sites have a spot for your trailer and a covered eatting area.

For those of you who may want to bring their pets, there is a dog walk fenced in area for your dogs to due their duty or run around

There is a circular area with 8 spots that the fish squad can stay but they don't have sewer. (The campground does have a dumpstation). We stayed in this area and thought at the time that it was actually pretty nice area for a rally. This area is right across from the water only sites.

I'm checking to see if they will honor the KOA card with the pricing that I was given.

If someone wants to check out this KOA, they should do it before the end of the year because they recommend me making the reservations after the 1st of the year. The event weekends fill up quicker and since we we'll need 20-25 sites we should make reservations as early as possible.

BTW:  They have a TV room  that I can see if we can get for our potlucks.

Here's the link to the campground

I can't find it on the website but do you have a site map that gives the actual site layout and site numbers and which ar e partial & full HU

I don't have to have Full but prefer it. It's great they have a dump station but if my tanks get full before the end of the weekend I'd have to hitch it up and move it.
when I have full HU's I NEVER make it thru the weekend without having to empty my tanks especially a 3 night weekend. It's something I will stress about all weekend and I'd rather not have to

Wavery....a shop vac will do just fine, thanks!!

Brian...yes, I am a sissy...dirt is yucky.

Dee....I always say God blessed me with two girls 'cos He knows my feelings about dirt!

However, because I love you all....I am willing to go camp in Dirt Central...I will just be bringing a big bottle of Xanax!

Kim are you going to be the wagon witch (master)  for this camping rally?  We would request full hook ups.  With all the people in our trailer we will need the sewer. Sign up Bryan for the cemetary all night sleepfest. I'll even pay the 10.00 bucks.

kimrb266

They faxed me a copy of the campground layout yesterday but the full hookups are dark and I don't know the site #'s.  I believe they were going to mail me a hard copy (I think dh threw our copy away when we got back from our trip).   Once I receive it, I will have dh scan it and post it.

If we are staying at the KOA, this means that the cemetery sleepover isn't an option.  I think they lock the gates at night anyway.  If you do want a scare fest, we can go camper to camper shake the canvas and make scary sounds.

Is the plan still to do all the calico halloween stuff??  How much is that if you don't stay there?  Are there groups rates for this?
