Ok..here goes my first complaint on TP Kissimmee... we have been going there for 8 years on at least 12 occasions.... always been our favorite getaway, but this time.... huge dissapointment..... rates have doulbled ( 60 per night w/o sewer paid in full at booking ) cafe and store prices have doulbled ( very few at pool cafe entire weekend.. 8 dollar cheeseburger and fries...come on )  they have basically stripped camp store of its once interesting inventory.... and bath AC's were not working and wood was rotting all over... on top of that.. employees were not very friendly and they would not allow you to choose our own site....  CG was about 75 % full on Memorial weekend !  others knew something before we did... we just booked Ft Wilderness for Aug. with full Hooks for less than TP.... times have changed and I dont like it... but location of TP is still ideal...right behind Old Town... thats hard to beat.....

We stayed at TP for the first time over spring break and we had an awful experience.  The rest rooms were horrible and one stall in the women's bathroom was broken the whole time we were there.  The showers and sinks were filthy.  For some reason, the trash was not emptied regularly and it really began to smell.  The pool was not clean.  Also, the week of spring break, they decided to pave the road going in and out of the campground behind Old Town.  This made for some awful delays getting in and out of the campground.  We had high hopes when we went there and it is the first time we have ever been so disappointed in a campground.  Next time, if we cannot get into Ft. Wilderness, we will stay at the KOA or stay in a hotel.  We will not return to this campground.

Thanks for the info.  We tried TP last November and it was mediocre.  the prices seemed too high and 1 of the men's restroom stalls was out of order.  Cleanliness was not that great either.

Sounds like they've gotten worse.
