Hold back there young rookie![;)] 6Quigs is a Kevin too. Notice my direct reply (up there at the top of the post) was to 6Quigs. He s also Euro. I don t get the impression you re Euro.

If you were Euro, you might say something like:

" That wanker is a bloody blatherer."

 or

" I m going to reef than banjaxed plonker"

 See? [8D][8D]

You re like a bronco just waiting to bust loose with the rabble rousing [;)][:D].I like that. Part of the art of rabble rousing is knowing who you re rabble rousing first and then getting the timing right. You were off on both accounts in this case. But don t worry. Just follow me and Surfcal and you ll be right up there with the best of us soon enough. [8D][8D][:D][:D]

Lucky for me I have you and SurfCal to bring me along.  It is too difficult sitting on the side lines.  Sometimes the best way to learn is to jump in with both feet.

I think you, me and Sacto can be an elite force.  There aren t a lot of NNC members that are peer to us and they try to RR us now and then, then run away.  But here are some observations.

 - Nick isn t bad, but he has a habit of shutting down threads.  But I think Griffsmom is also a contender.  I see the way she s stalled the Website thread.

 - Red " neff"  Barchetta is always in a good mood and not mischievous enough.  He s like the NNC Boy Scout and altar boy.

 - CWB gets too sensitive, then turns around and terrorizes the racoons.

 - 6Quigs tries, then loses momentum.

 - GSM X2, we have to be tender with him because half the time he has nonsequiturs along with Calstate.

 - Cottonwooder is feisty and she ll, lash back at you.  Don t mess with her.

 - Ab Diver is our ambassador to the rest of PUT.  He s always in the General Forum or Campfire and straight forward.  Unflappable.

 - G-Whiz is too nice.  Otter is peaceful.  OC Campers is clueless.  Sammyslave is nowhere to be found.  DuaneFamily is busy with her kids.  We re too juvenile for Hybrid Holly.  TMM is using a Mac and isn t even a contender.

Bottom line is, we just pick on 6Quigs.  There s really no one to Rabble Rouse these days.  Sacto and I are at our peak, conquered the land with no real foe.

I like your pitbull style, how you get in there and lockjaw with the rest.  You ll learn soon enough how to effectively use a Can O  Whoopass.  It s really potent stuff.

 A couple additions:

-GSMx2 likes to hug. It s a wonderful quality. But any attempts at rabble rousing by him don t generate a response because we just visualize him hugging Sammyslave.

-6Quigs is Euro. No matter how hard he may try to rabble rouse, we can always get the last word in edgewise by making a comment about his Euroness.

-Cottonwooder: Ray s right. Stay away from her. She s like the dog with an injured leg: She ll leave you alone, tolerate a little discomfort but if cornered will whirl around like the Tazmanian Devil if pushed too far. But she likes to scrapbook so she definitely has a Jekyl and Hyde thing going on.

-Red Neff: Ray hit the nail on the head. He s always helping out, offering batteries, helping old ladies cross the street, saying nice things & stuff. His window of opportunity to rabble rouse has passed. Rabble rousers don t perceive him as a threat.

-Griffsmom: The rabble rouser in disguise. She jumped on her window of opportunity and rabble rouses with precision: She picks and chooses where to rabble rouse, does so with zinging comments, then retreats and disappears. Excellent tactics. It s as if she has rabble roused somewhere else before.

-GWhiz: She s trying to rabble rouse a little bit, but her sheer volume and rate of posts dilutes her potency as a true rabble rouser. Rabble rousing unwritten code of ethics directs rabble rousers not to participate in all threads simultaneously as a non rabble rouser...and then suddenly rabble rouse in one of them.

-CWB: He tried to make a rise to rabble rousing power, but was snuffed out by the stronger rabble rousers. He became a rabble rousing victim and has not tried to challenge since. Besides, he also uses the term " giggle" , which is a direct violation of NNC bylaw #12. No rabble rouser-to-be can be taken seriously after using the term " giggle."

-TMM: Now he s a good rabble rouser. He helped us take down CWB. He doesn t rabble rouse much, but when he does, it s a zinger. Gotta stay on your toes with him.

-SCCS: He has proven he has the makings of a rabble rouser. His window of opportunity is still open and we re assessing his talent.

-Nick: He can rabble rouse, but as moderator is at an unfair advantage. Respect among rabble rousers is earned only upon a level playing field.

-Otter: She likes to cyber-hug. Very endearing woman, but I don t think rabble rousing is even on her radar screen. Therefore, if she suddenly attempts to rabble rouse, I think we will be able to quickly repel her advance.

-OCCampers: She s on the fence as to whether she wants to rabble rouse. Keeping my eye on her as a potential rabble rousing foe, but so far, the threat appears minimal.

-Hybrid Holly: Every once in a while she rouses some rabble. But like Surfcal said, is rather above the fray on this subject.

-CKKevin: Definitely an up-and-comer. Surfcal and I have assessed his talent and we re bringing him along. He s chomping at the bit. We re teaching him strategy and tactics. In no time he ll be challenging the rabble rousing leadership.

-Calstate 360: He doesn t play the rabble rousing game. He ll just bring out the Can O  Whoopass and it ll be all over. Don t even try to test him. Rabble rousing requires two willing partners.

-Ab Diver: He s like our foreign diplomat to PUT. As we are fearful of the unknown, very few NNCers venture outside the protection of our sanctuary. In the rare event that outside travel is necessary, Ab Diver advises us to update our immunizations, escorts us out of the NNC forum, ensures safe arrival, and arranges a taxi to deliver us to the correct thread. He is also our liaison to the other PUT cultures outside the NNC forum, attempting to bridge the different cultures into a common appreciation. Thus, as a non-partisan objective NNCer, it is unbecoming of a diplomat of his stature to partake in rabble rousing. Rabble rousing is symptomatic of intra-forum strife and does not impress foreign dignitaries, thus he keeps it under wraps.

A lot of the other members I haven t met, are dormant, or lurking so their rabble rousing talent is difficult to assess. Rabble rousing character profiles are living documents and subject to change according to NNC events.
