Got back Wednesday afternoon from an extended trip to Kerrville, Texas for the annual Folk Music Festival.  My 1990 Starcraft A/C didn't do too well last year in the TX sun, so this year I had PUX bunk end covers which helped a lot.  The A/C is only 7500 BTU, BTW (or is it 9500?... not sure, but I know it is less than 10,000).  Anyway, I plan on doing the reflectix thing for all the windows before the next hot outing.

The first 4 days or so were very rainy, and it became extremely muddy with many cars getting stuck in the parking area.  Severaly tents were washed away as they had been set up too close to a stream which quickly rose with the rain.  The next to last night before I left there was a bad T-storm that nearly took off my awning.  I came back to the site to find the awning poles out in the access road.  I had my truck parked just beside the PU (very crowded on the weekend and parking is at a premium).  I don't know how they got past my truck w/o causing some damage, but so far I haven't found any.

The new BAL leveler worked great!  Very happy with it.

The camping facilities at this place are not the best, with the focus being on the music and not comfort.  But, the "outhouses" seemed to be even worse this year than last.  I had a small "porta-potti" but used for liquids only.  It was a big help, but I'm thinking of getting a larger unit, maybe a Thetford 565 and use it all the time. I will be posting another question about that.

A lot of the festival goers just tent camped in a big area we call the meadow, with no hookups at all.  At least I had elec and water.

And yes, I will be going back again next year. :)
