This is what we pay in Missouri

For seniors (65 and older ) and handicapped the off season prices are in effect for "on season"

...after reading this post, it gets me depressed at how NJ is just primitive.  We got some beautiful state parks down here in S. Jersey, just can't enjoy them in the summertime (per the wifes instructions).

I have been to Hickory Run in a tent....Am definitely going to look into Ricketts Glenn....

California is $9 for a primitive (off-season) with no reservations to $49 for a premium site with hook-ups, peak season (there is a $7.50 charge for each reservation that must be calculated into the price).

TN w/e sites range from around $16.50 to $19 night, depending on the park.  A few parks have sewer available for about $2 more.

CRcamper

Just paid $18/night (full electric/water/sewage hookups) at Tyler SP in East Texas last week.

Old Town Park at Perry Lake in Kansas

Sites are $12-$16/night. The picnic shelter is reserveable for $20.00/day. Visitor fees of $5.00 are in effect on weekends and holidays.

(Because visitors end up using the showers during Labor Day)

It's a ACE campground (Army Corp...) so I'd imagine thats the price for most ACE in KS but I could be wrong..

In Wisconsin, electric sites are between $15.00 and $18.00 a night.  Then of course there is the ReserveAmerica fee.  Still a pretty good bargain all things considered.  There are only a handful of State Parks here with water, but the price stays the same.

And let me just brag and say that we have some of the most beautiful and well maintained parks in the country.  Hats off to the Wisconsin DNR.

In Texas it varies. We paid 15 per night at Lake Livingston, 20 per at Galveston Island and Pederanales Falls.  There is also a per person per day entrance fee at the parks and that varies too depending on the park.  If you have a state park pass (cost 60.00 per year that fee is waived for everyone in your vehicle.:)
Quote from: trumpet87Prices in Indiana are $24/night on non holiday periods and during prime camping season. Would love to hear from as many states as possible your prices per night, might want to visit :U

Nebraska State Parks
Electric site =  $15.00 per night
Non-electric =  $10.00 per night
There is also a State Entrance fee of $4.00 per day or $20.00 a year.
State Recreation Areas which are differant than Ne. State Parks have various fee's depending on pad, non pad, and most are non electric and location area of rec. site.

Okay, as of Saturday morning I have heard from 20 states! Great job! Any more out there that are not on this list please post! Thanks!!!  ;) Especially need some more from western states and Eastern states :-)
I have heard from:

IN
CA
IL
MI
LA
AR
SC
NC
MO
NY
PA
NJ
FL
GA
TN
TX
MN
KS
WI
NB (I hope this is correct for Nebraska)?

Thanks everyone! Just wanted to note that the top 3 most expensive so far are:

IN (my state, and I don't know why). We have some nice parks but I think that is a lot to pay with not a whole lot of extraordinary scenery, LOL!
CA
GA

Maryland state parks are pretty expensive.  Basic non-electric sites go from $15 to $25 with the majority of those being $20.  The $15 are parks that don't have convenient bath houses.

Many MD parks do not have full hookup sites, just electric.  The electric sites are usually $5 or $10 more than the no hookup sites.  They go from $25 to $40.  Most are $25, a couple are $30 and 1 is $40, that's Assateaque Island SP.

Not confusing like the NY parks, but not cheap, either.
