Soon, following the suit of Maryland and other places, our weekend tolls  DE Rt. 1 are going up, if this passes.

There will be no discount for EZPass users, I guess the high speed EZPass lans on Route 1 should be compensation Enough.

And according to my town cryer (Hubby) Double axiled trailers (Like my Bantam) will be charged the comercial rate.

If you live in Delaware, contact your representatives, if you do not, and intend to camp here or even pass through to Assategue and points south, I suggest calling Governor Minner, or e-mailing.

Our state's web site is //www.de.gov

Let her know that this just ain't right!!! And that the state could loose money from travelers/campers NOT coming through DE or camping here.

There are ways to bypass both Tolls, the one just south of the canal has an exit right after the bridge, one can take that exit and get on 13 south and get back on DE 1 at Odessa if traveling South, going around the toll, they built this ramp for locals and do ticket trucks who try to use it. Odessa exit to Bridge coming from the south.

If one gets off at South Symrna to avoid the tolls and gets back on on DE 8 (or stay on 13 bearing left onto 113 at the fork) to DE 1, there are about 20 traffic lights through Dover on US 13...so pick your poison, higher toll (on weekends) and no EZpass discount at all or a bunch of traffic lights.

If it race weekend, higher tolls or not, unless one is going into Dover  or Dover Downs, Stay off 13. Can be a nightmare.
