Ives Run State Park is a beautiful State Park.  This is also the only State Park we've ever stayed in that has full hookups, including sewer sites, and for the low price of $24 per night.  The campground is fairly open, in spite of many large trees that dot the campground.   Sites are very large.  The campground and park are nestled in Hammond Lake, which forms a portion of the Tioga/Hammond Lake area of North Central PA.  The Park features a swimming area which is in the lake, but is a concrete bottom section of the lake.  There are many boat launches throughout the park.  Fishing and water skiing (not at the same time) were frequent activities we observed while we were there.  There are several hiking trails through the woods of the park, as well as a longer trail that interconnects several State Parks in the area.  We enjoyed our time here and look forward to returning in the future.
