This will be the 3rd mini-rally we've been to this year.  I really enjoy the small group setting because we are able to talk and get to know those who've we've camped with but haven't talked to much.

We are looking forward to this trip because we only have 2 more trips for our camping season.

I haven't been able to locate information on if MY site is full hookups or dry.  Does anyone know a way I can find out?

You have water and electric but no sewer. Found it on the reserve america website.

Being that we are a small group this time, are we going to have potlucks or be on our own.  We can BBQ our own meat and share a side dish.  What do you think?

Azusateach

Since it's just me, I'd like to make whatever I'm eating for dinner & bring it to a central location.  Frankly, I don't want the hassle of making more than I'll eat & don't want to take home food.  I'll be lucky if I can remember everyone's name -- school's just a little crazy right now ...

For me the fun is sitting together, not sampling everyone else's food.  No offense meant, anyone!  I just want to keep it simple this weekend, especially since there are so few of us.

We are ok with a supper potluck. I'll check with Lori to see what we will be making for Saturday. I know that Griffin has a soccer game on Saturday that may conflict with a breakfast potluck.

griffsdad

Griffin has a 10:20 soccer game on Saturday so we will not be participating in the breakfast potluck. :(

I'm trying to lose some weight so I'm have to be careful what I eat.  Maybe, we'll do our own thing for this trip.  I want to be at my goal weight by the Halloween trip so I can fit into my Halloween pants.

Halloween Pants??  I don't even want to know...  :D

Lets just do our own thing.  I am gonna make a dutch oven dessert of some sort.  I will have some to share I will bring that to the campfire...

kimrb266

My Halloween pants are jean with halloween embroidery on them.  I want to get into the theme of things.

Who all is bringing firewood?  We will be happy to bring o or 2 bundles but that won't be enought for 2 nights.

griffsmom

We'll have two bundles of firewood that we couldn't use this weekend. Hopefully, they'll have dried out by then.

I'm up for a potluck Saturday evening. I'll be making DO beef stroganoff and trying out a new DO dessert recipe: balck forest dump cake.
It looks like the weather will be mid-70s with 10% chance of precipitation--should be great!

After this last weekend, it should be heaven for you guys!  I can't wait for the black forest cake.  I think we can bring something for potluck but I don't know what....

Ain't that the truth!! :) We've got the bunks out on the camper right now letting them dry in the sun. Despite the rain this weekend, it was still a good trip. As Dave said, at least we know our camper can withstand 36+ hours of rain with no leaks!

I hope the black forest cake turns out well. Maybe I shouldn't tell you, but I haven't made it before, so you're all going to be my guinea pigs....

ANYTIME someone eats my cooking they are guinea pigs!  I will eat anything that doesn't eat me first!
