Don't lump me in this, I yanked my inverter out at home.  She's the one that litters our Highways and Byways......(Insert Indian smiley with tear rolling down cheek)

With excessive idle curiosity I did some web searching and found a site where I could superimpose the current fire, the big fire from a couple years ago, and the Dogwood campground location.

For the Butler 2 fire to reach Dogwood it would have to go several miles including crossing about 3 miles of terrain that burned a couple years ago.  Not likely.

The worst a wind shift would do to Dogwood Campground is make it smoky.

Dee you are more than welcome to use our microwave..I have electricity this time.  I am cooking scrambled eggs and ham for breakfast potluck and I will bring a fresh spinach salad for dinner...and Brian you can splice into our electricity..we may be closer..were in 19.

Here is one more website I found to get information on current fires is Ca., the fire in Big Bear is # 2 on the list (Butler fire).
