Shower Curtain Bracket mod

The shower/potti combo unit in my pup has a removable bracket that hangs from the ceiling that the shower curtain attaches to. I was wondering if anybody has modified the bracket to make it fold up. Basically I was thinking of cutting the bracket in half and attaching a hinge of some kids that would allow it to fold up with the shower curtain still attached and roll the curtain and bracket up together for easy and convenient storage, removal and installation. This would be done after the curtain was dry of course.I have yet to use the shower so this might seem premature but the idea of the curtain hanging there all the time annoys me a bit. Also with all the small clips that the curtain attaches to it would seem to be a pain in the backside to take it down and put it back up all the time. Has anybody tried this or have any other solutions.

Thank you and God Bless.

Hey Jason,

I just got my first pup that includes the shower/potty setup. The first thing I did was get rid of the "50 pound shower curtain" that came with the trailer. Talk about PITA!

I bought two cloth shower curtains at Wally World that cost $10 each. These are very light weight and come in colors to match your decor. I use the 1 inch round locking rings that you find in the office supplies for binding papers. These are always on the curtain. I overlapped the curtains by about 6 holes.

The existing curtain frame never comes down. When I want to use the shower, I hook the rings on the curtain rollers and when I am finished, the curtain goes outside on the laundry line to dry. It takes about 10 minutes to dry. Then the curtain goes back into a ziplock bag that stores very easily in a cupboard.

It is not a problem to hook it and unhook it when finished. By the way, the shower curtain rollers on the frame make excellent holders for our car keys when not being used to hold the shower curtain. Hope this helps.
