Ok, here's the issue.  Maybe someone can help me with this.  We are new to popuping.  We bought our popup and joined the forum in April.  We have used our pup 10 nights and we've never had this problem before.  We went out last weekend and stayed three nights.  It was very hot so we ran our air full blast all weekend.  It was fine until the third day the condensation started leaking through the rear ceiling.  The only difference between this trip and others is that all the other trips the condensation ran off the rear curbside of the camper this time it ran off the rear street side.  I took the shroud off the air conditioner when we got home and poured water in the bowl inside and it drained out of both drains fine.  What could the problem be and is there an easy fix?  Could my air have been running so much that the drain just coudn't keep up and it overflowed inside?

did you clean the filter and was the camper level?

You actually have a much bigger issue here. You need to find out if the insulation in your ceiling is saturated. You should do that right away because, if it is, you could have a serious problem with your roof and that wet insulation may mold.

The camper was probably more level than we've had it at other trips.  Most of the time we level it slighly off toward the rear so the condensation doesn't drip off near the front but this time it was probably very level.  The inside air filter was slightly dirty I noticed while I was packing up but not bad.  I cleaned it when I bought the camper in April.  Is there also a filter in the unit on top?

It probably is saturated because the ceiling is wrinkled. I had it setup in the driveway a couple of days and everything seems to be dry now but I'm not sure. When I press on the ceiling it's not spongy or anything.  The ceiling was wrinkled when I bought it but the guy who sold it to me told me that the seal around the air conditioner was bad and that the dealer replaced it.  I'm thinking I might have been taken on that one.  The whole camper only put me out $3,000 though.  I'd hate to have a $1,000. roof repair.

if i,m not mistaken that a/c is like a tray and the seal is more of an air seal..most of those a/cs have a sling ring fan blade to pick up the water(condensate)and throw it against the condenser coil...make sure the return air side of the coil is clean .if it isn,t the condensate will wick down down past the drainpan.just another thought

I don't know if our problem is similar to yours or not......but..... We had a '95 Coleman Cape Cod with A/C and the second season we had it we noticed the lining of the ceiling was wrinkled and then we had a drip from one inside corner of the A/C. We investigated and found that the seal between the A/C and the outside roof had not been installed. We took it to Coleman and the roof was replaced under warranty. I have also heard that, from road vibration, it is necessary to check the mounting bolts of the A/C to the roof as they can loosen.
Good luck,
Cheryl

It looks like only one section of the ceiling has been damaged. about 1/4 of the ceiling or 2 1/2 feet.  Will I be able to just replace that part of the ceiling or will I have to replace the entire roof?  Does anyone know the average cost to replace the ceiling?

No update on the issue yet.  They still have my camper at the shop but I had about six diesel pushers in front of me so it may take another week.

thanks for the update

My roof was punctured in a storm, and the dealership said - no repair - but rather replace at $2000, plus shipping costs.

My Carrier Air-V leaked only when the rain was blown at a certain angle, but this was corrected when the roof was replaced.
