I am debating between Fleetwood Niagara and Jayco Select.  Any opinions? Best Price I found for 2007 Niagara without A/C was $12900.  Anybody will to share the price they paid for Jayco Select with what options? Just so I have an idea when I go to local dealer.

Sorry I was confused Starcraft Centennial vs Niagara.

I think our dealer is getting 14XXX for his Niagaras with AC and probably awning, maybe another one or two pluses. Sounds like you have a good price.

My opinion and 5 bucks will get you a cup of coffee (don't forget the 5 bucks when you go): I like the Fleetwoods better than the Jaycos. Seems like finish is better. Then again, I'm biased because I like the local Fleetwood dealer much better than the local Jayco dealer.

If you don't mind my asking, where did you find the 07 Niagara for $12900? Sounds like a good price, I have been looking at used 05's for around $10,000

I personally would not buy Niagara older then 2007 because they had problems  with roof in the past.  I learn that reading here in PUT.

My only concern with Niagara was its roof.  It had a bad track record in the past.

My understanding is that there have not been issues with the Highlander roof. Prior to 2005 the Niagara was not a Highlander and did have problems with the alumitite and before that the ABS roof. By the way, I have a 1999 Sante Fe with the ABS and so far have not had a problem.

Can anyone set me straight here, were there problems with the 2004 through 2006 Highlander roofs?

I do not recall any problems with Highlander roofs. Also, maybe 10%, and probably no more than 10% of the ABS roofs had problems.
