Sit right back and you'll hear a tale

about a camping club

that started many years ago

when I was quite young

The SCampers are a mighty group

Who love to camp and play

Please join us for a camping trip

We're leaving home today :)

(please fill in the rest - I'm going camping - sing to the tune of Gilligan's Island)

The poker game got really good, at the Chezway site
with Harold, and Karen too
Jim & his wife
The fish Squad, the bartender & Cactus coolers
Here on our camping trip

The problem with the rally song is that it is a "chug-a-lug" game!  You must chug every time you miss a lyric or the beat.  Nobody seems to know the song, being tone deaf, we've not past the first word.
BTW....Don't any of you composers quit your day job!

A spirited group you are!
Not sure when we will be able to camp with you, but we will keep a lookout for rallies.

Oh, yes, we are quite "spirited"....especially after a few rounds of Cactus Coolers around the campfire!    :!

Until recently I've been remiss in my web surfing- we didn't camp for about 4 months so I dropped off.

Welcome from Long Beach.  We have two ex- one year olds (now 4 and 6) and I'll say that they really enjoyed camping through their toddlerhood.  The way this club works is if you can't make a scheduled rally just create your own.  Post the when and where; you'll likely get some neighbors.  Just this week Griffsmom posted that they would be in Buellton in a week and a half- I had been trying to decide where to stop on our way to Santa Cruz the same weekend- and a rally was born.
