Northeast Hybrid Gathering

Not ready to use the word rally ...

I am thinking of trying to put together a spring 2008 gathering in NH, thinking of Danforth Bay Campground in Freedom, NH, near Lake Ossippee and North Conway.

If I get an idea of how many would be interested, I might make it serious.

If FORMER htt owners are welcome, dw and I would be interested depending on the date.

That is a very pretty area and some fun things to do.  Lot's of shopping at the North Conway Malls (NH is a sales tax free state), nice ride across the Kankamangus and up through Franconia Notch.

Or a day trip to Mt. Washington area is possible.

Also possible to rent canoes or kayaks and do a trip down the Bearcamp River into Lake Ossippee.

I haven't stayed at Danforth Bay but have heard it is nice.

We have camped at Whit's End CG but I don't think they could support a large gathering if a lot wanted w/e.  Sewer sites are limited but they do have a dump station.

just came back from a week up in Wentworth NH at another Pine Haven CG, had a great time, we went moose hunting (pic) sight seeing, geo cashing , shopping.  we are planning another group trip to MASS next spring to do the Boston area, the freedom trail and stuff. looking into there state parks, or a pvt near by

I would like to go also... But don't count me yet. It is a ways off. I might make it a two weeker and visit some friends in Keen. I would like to go so please keep me posted.
