yes because the site that opened up was NEXT to me (Viking)...some people don't like to be that close to the late night action so Kwisti moved in my site and I took Vikings site. I thought it would be easier to get someone to take the site if they weren't so close to my flame thrower :J

Thanks..no I did not. I thought about the EL but this is why I didn't

1.Price- Looking to keep my payment the same as I currently had

2.Gas- they really don't list the EPA and it has a 33 gal tank vs a 28 gal tank so it made me wonder if it took the extra 5 gallons to go the same distance per tank full

3. it would just make Dan & I fight more..with more room, that means I can bring more firewood and stuff  :p

Quote from: Dee4jYes we have another self service Rally Fri. Feb 15th-Mon Feb 18th
It is at San Onofre SB the San mateo Campground

these sites have water & electric, but no sewer

They are $29/night + a reservation fee The total for 3 nights

at the time of this post there are plenty of sites available and and except for sites 1-4 at 32 feet the rest are 36-40 ft so plenty big enough for the hybrids.

since this is a holiday weekend, the beach and thru reserve america I would make reservations soon..you never know how fast they will fill up

Yeah, I hope he can make it :D

I believe it's pretty flat. I couldn't tell you about the bathrooms since I don't use them but they had this info:

San Onofre State Beach
Overview
San Onofre State Beach includes San Onofre Surf Beach - a day use facility, San Mateo campground and day use facility, and a Nature Trail . The campground is along Old Highway 101 adjacent to the sandstone bluffs. The beach is three miles south of San Clemente off I-5 on Basilone Road. Phone 949-492-4872.

Camping
San Mateo Campground has five sites that are generally accessible. Two of them have electrical hookups. Restrooms with showers: Toilets are accessible. Showers may require assistance reaching spray unit and coin box.

Trails
The San Mateo Beach Access Trail is an interpretive trail accessible for about 0.25 mile along a coastal bluff. Trailhead and parking are available in campground south of visitor center.

Beach/Shore Access
Beach wheelchair is available. Call the lifeguard tower at (949) 492-8592 weekends to reserve. From June 1 through about September 15th, call any day to reserve a beach wheelchair.

PopUpMomma

Cool.
