thinking of going ,has anyone been .?this will be the first leg of the spring break trip and then its off to GA to go jeeping

This is a nice park, with lots of history. Your best bet is the river section of the campground, the beach side is more like a parking lot with no privacy or shade. It hard to see the ocean from there due to the dunes. The river section was recently upgraded and has a new bathhouse whereas the beach section has older facilities. The area is absolutley beautiful.
