Mold on inside of canvas

Upon opening our pop-up this year I found mold had grown on the inside of the canvas and ceiling of our pop-up. Obviously the ceiling was not an issue to clean but I am hesitant to put anything on the canvas that may degrade it. I am looking for any solutions to this problem that may work. Thanks in advance for your help.
