Just returned from a week of camping at Sweetwater Forest in Brewster, MA on Cape Cod.  I would go back again in a minute and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to go on the Cape.  Beautiful wooded sites and very quiet at night.  A well-stocked and convenient camp store.  Brewster is a perfect location geographically to explore the cape - dozens of beautiful beaches within a 30 minute drive.  Paine's Creek beach - a 5 minute drive from camp - is an incredible place, particularly for children.  It has very active tidal influences that fill and empty the creek creating your own classroom of currents and crabs.   At low tide you can easily walk out a half mile exploring what nature has left behind.  Very, very nice.

We've camped in Brewster for the past 7 years....we stay at Shady Knolls....very convenient with a Deli across the street and also close to Paines Creek and Crosby Beach....don't forget Cobies too !

we liked Sweetwater also...stayed there for 2 weeks summer of 2006....very dog friendly (even have a/c kennel on premises)..and boy does it get quiet there at night, you could hear a pin drop!  Boys had fun fishing and catching frogs/turtles at the pond.  We used it as our base on the cape and would go up to Herring Cove Beach/Race Point, to the Wellfleet Drive In, and elsewhere....
Would definitely go there again.
