My 2003 Starcraft has a furnace that worked wonderfully well on our last trip.  Wierd thing:  The thermostat's current temp indicator always said about 80 degrees, even in the middle of the night.  The Adjustable indicator I left at 60 and it seemed to bring the furnace on as needed to keep the camper somewhere around 60, but the current temp indicator never moved.  I was surprised the thermostat would turn the furnace on if it thought it was actually 80 in the camper.   I guess it works fine, even if it doesn't display the actual temp so maybe I should just leave it alone! What do you think?

The temperature indicator is separate from the thermostat (on analog units). It is merely a coiled spring that expands and contracts with temperature fluctuation. That's one of the reasons that digital thermostats work so much better.

Try tapping the front of the thermo. It is probably just stuck.
