Tulomne Meadows, Yosemite Natronal Park, 2001:

Tulomne Meadows, one of my favorite places.

Speaking favorite places, I also like the beach.

I took the top picture on Monday and the 2nd picture this morning [Wednesday].

As you can see the smoke and ash has made a beautiful place not so pretty.

Here's that same beach before the California fires.

FYI: That's Catalina Island in the background.

As my brother-in-law was driving I snapped this picture from the interstate highway. Some place in Colorado.

My DW and I spent a week in early October to do a little leaf peeping. Here are a few pictures from our trip. Hopefully, I can get this online.
First, the campsite:

K and I: Those pictures are beautiful.

Where were they taken?

Thank you. They were taken in the Old Forge, NY area. Actually, at the Old Forge Camping Resort. We had a nice relaxing trip. We did a little hiking also, but the Bald Mountain day was quite overcast:

The best color shot I could get on a dreary day:

But I'm not complaining- any day camping and hiking is better than a sunny day at work.
I'm very impressed with the pictures I 've seen here. It's hard to believe that they were taken with a Point & Shoot.
Keep posting.

I haven't posted in a while. I got a new iMac and I've been trying to learn it's tricks.

Here's a picture of our dog--120 pounds of muscle.

Russ,
Nice looking Rottie. We had to put ours down a year and a half ago due to bone cancer. I couldn't bring myself to get another for quite a while. Finally, the better half prevailed and we got a female pup in June. Her name is Molly. She has quite a way to go to get to the size of yours. Actually, she probably won't get that big based on the size of the parents.

Kuna is our 4th Rottie. All four were all excellent dogs, impossible to say which one was the best. Each one was better than the rest at certain things, but they were all very loving and faithful.

Here's a photo I took last fall. It's the Hetch Hetchy section of Yosemite.
