Quote from: Hoagie;214184I hope you get to go. Hwy 38 is supposed to re-open to downbound traffic at 6pm today. With another storm coming in tomorrow, it might not last long.

Never went to Tahquitz; our troop/council always used Ahwahnee when it was still open.

I here its closed right now only because Big bear is running out of supplies, hopefully that will all be takedn care of in the next couple days...

I'm so glad to see others posting pictures here. This one was taken last July in Holmes County, OH. We were "camping" at a bed and breakfast, and I took this out of the bedroom window. We had 15 couples and took up the whole place for that day. Somehow, I feel like I've cheated, though. Please don't tell my pop-up that we stayed at a bnb.

Ahhhhhh! A fellow admirer of one of the more enduring, so-called "dead" languages of antiquity.

PHOTO PHOUL!

Sorry K_and_I. I'm calling phoul. You are hereby sentenced to the great outdoors where you are required to take more photos and post them continually to this website. 6 months minimum. Try to get a camper in there every now and then....:U

Wayne in Oregon

Well, I'll try to oblige Wayne, but it would sure help if the weather cooperated. We had just melted off the last of the snow, when we woke up this morning to 14" on the ground. So, here is an outdoor shot and it does contain the camper (but I took it from inside the house through a window):

We went camping the week before Memorial Day so we could have some quiet time before the holiday weekend. Our children and grandchildren joined us Friday evening for the rest of the weekend. Here is a picture of our campsite:

Let's see some more pictures.

This photo was taken at one of the kids activities at the campground. I have no idea who he is, or if his sister has any say in this matter:

Come to think of it, I have a sister.... naw, I wouldn't get much of a tractor for her :)
