Easy pineapple upside-down cakes

Just thought I'd share this recipe that I came across and tried on our last trip.

Ingredients:

-Glazed donuts

-1 can of pineapple rings (although I'm sure crushed                          or chunks would work just as well)

-marischino cherries

Just place your donut on some foil.  Top with the pineapple(I cut the rings up into about 6 pieces each for easier eating!) and push your cherry into the donut hole.  Wrap up and place in the coals of your fire until it all warms up nicely!


Since this worked so well, I tried my own version with devil's food chocolate donuts, cherry pie filling and mini marshmallows for a Black Forest type of dessert.  It worked just as well and sometimes it's nice to try something a little different than the usual smores.
