OW-Harbor View Campground-Colonial Beach,VA

Just got back from a very nice stay at Harbor View Campground.  Full hookup sites, some with 50 amp.  Clean, stocked restrooms/showers.  Wonderful pool. New kiddie playground next to office/pool.  Mini golf, shuffleboard, tennis, teatherball.  Weather was hot and humid, burn ban in effect, so no campfires.  Nearby are George Washington's birthplace (working farm), Ingleside Winery.  Lots of eateries in the area.  Food Lion Grocery Store just a few miles on 205 in Colonial Beach.  Very nice stay - will return.

Pattie, is this now in the Thousand Trails group??  We looked at it several years ago on a trip to Westmoreland and it was in really bad shape.  Sure sounds much nicer now from your description!  :>

Sorry for delayed response.  Yes/no on it being part of the TT system.  Outdoor World and Thousand Trails (two separate systems) are both owned by Priviledged Access, but, are remaining two separate systems.  Membership in one does not give you access to the other unless you've upgraded or have the separate membership.

This campground is smaller than many I've visited via my TT membership, and the first I've tried out my Outdoor World membership.  I really enjoyed the pool, and the restrooms were clean.  I can't say the campground is spectacular, but it is rather 'quaint'.  Nice for the get away.  I was there during the week, so can't comment on any weekend activities.
