ok forks heres my story towed my 1995 starcraft maiden voyage to disney
when i was cranking the top i later found that the a/c plug that comes down the wall got stuck behind something and broke off well i fixed it enough for the
a/c to work but i was nervious the whole night thinking something was going to catch fire. then i couldnt get the 12v ceiling lights to work i finally figured the
inverter out presto but still some of the 110v inside plugs didnt work. i did have
the 30 amp plug in so i knew i was getting power.also that duetherm a/c
is pretty noisey on high cool so i put it on low for the night.all in all i had a great time on my first trip with my pop up fort wilderness was great.later that night
a duel axel motor home pulled in about 200 feet long lol all i heard was the air brakes i never saw the guy get out the whole week. i wanted to let everone know that during august if you book for 5 days at any disney resort free meals
2 a day.the waitress at the trails end resturant told us about it. also we went to the wilderness lodge to go swimming and lunch it was great.took the boat all over then rode the monorail all in all a great time.

Two things...

Folks shouldn't get their hopes up, free dining has always excluded campsites in the past.  Cains are included.

Swimming at the Lodge is against the rules :(

Why can't you swim at the Lodge?  If you stay on property I thought you had access to all hotel pools and amenities.

No, two yrs ago when we were there, we were told that we were only permitted to use the pool at our own resort facility. Apparently, they wanted to cut down on the all day pool hopping that had taken place in the past.

we were there 2 weeks ago and had no issues with the pool hopping, in fact we even asked and were told is was perfectly alright. We went over to the Contempory and while there ordered drinks and some food and put the entire thin on our Fort Wilderness key card.

What a great place it is Disney really knows how to make everything just right.

The service that I like is that you can make purchases inside the parks, you know souvoniers (sp) clothes etc. and instead of carrying it around with you all day, you can have it sent to your Disney hotel or to Fort Wilderness if you're staying there. When you arrive back at Fort Wilderness, you just go to the front desk and collect your goodies.

That is cool.

Now I didn't know that.  I'll have to remember that one!
