Baby's first trip!

Jessie went on her first camping trip! She was only 3 1/2 weeks old! Things went pretty well, but it was HOT, with temps in the upper 90's/low 100's, and humid. We actually did a 3 night trip, which was pretty gutsy. We were less than 40 miles from home, however.

We took our oldest on her first camping trip before her first birthday.  That was back in our tent days.  She has camped in literally hundreds of campgrounds in more than 30 states, plus several Canadian provinces.  Now she's married and has a 10 month old daughter.  She and her husband have had their little girl out camping.  That's they family tradition!

Start them young, and they just accept it as part of life, as it should be.

We took our 6-week-old son on his first camping trip, too, in mid-July. It was also 3 nights, but 200 miles from home. We did a trial run in the back yard for 2 nights, though, just to feel confident that he would do well in a different environment. It went great.

Now, in a couple of weeks, we're off for his 2nd trip Labor Day weekend. The in-laws are going, too, so our Jayco will be full with the 5 of us. They're great in-laws, though, so no complaints there.

I hope you get to make many more trips with her.

We just got back from our first weekend trip with our twins, but we waited until they were 1 1/2 yrs old before going anywhere....

Your setup looks great, we have a pop up, but are really envious of the HTT's.  My wife's cousin went camping with us and her and her husband have one.

I'm going to show my wife your photo album and tell her "see, we could've gone sooner!"
