New guy here. First of all let me pass on congrats to all here; this is a good site with a wealth of information. If only owner's manuals were as informative........ah, well...

My wife and I recently purchased a Viking tent trailer from a neighbor who had upgraded. I had no reservations about buying it from this guy as I know him to look after all of his "toys". It is in excellent shape and we have no issues with it.
We had to be very quick about buying it though and as a result I didn't research the trailer as much as I would have liked.  The model is an Epic 17.6; 2003 model year. Now I have come across many 1706 and 1906 models but not any like ours. I even Googled it and came up blank.

It is a barebones trailer; no water, no electricity and no propane. This is not an issue as 99% of our camping is done in places where these amenities are not needed. We cook outside, well away from the trailer, have our own lighting system etc.

My question is this. Has anyone heard of an Epic 17.6? Anyone out there own one?

robbie welcome to PUT!  I have not seen that model, but don't let that bother you.  My Coleman Nevada is also a "rare" model.  Enjoy your camper and this website.  Post some pictures of your trailer if you can.:)

Used 2B PopUPTimes

Those tent campers who already have camping equipment and want to get off of the ground for a modest price can find a stripped down model from any of the pop up makers.

They're light weight, easy to tow, easy to setup and inexpensive. Viking gave us an Epic 1706 to raffle off back in 1999. I think the retail value at that time was less than $3700.
