We're getting a lot of inquiries about our next issue of the magazine that will cover the topic of moving on to a hybrid or other style of RV/camper. I'd like to publish the results of this question in that article.

Do you plan on moving to a Hybrid or other camper / RV within the next 2 years?

It's under consideration.  We have looked at a variety of options, and the only thing we keep being drawn back to are hybrids.  It won't happen this year, but maybe next, maybe the year after, and maybe not at all.

So put us solidly in the "Maybe" category.

OC Campers

We are looking at upgrading to a hybrid or a hybrid toy hauler style camper.  We enjoyed the latest issue of the PUT magazine with the article on the popup versions of the toy hauler.  It would be great to see an article on the hybrid version that has the 8ft deck on the front.

No plans to move on.  Pop-Up 4ever! or at least til I'm too old to Pop it up anymore...  Dang, I hope that never happens, lol!

oldmoose

We expect to get a hybrid within the next 2 years.

I voted no, however, we would if it were an option.

We live in an apartment and park our PU in the underground garage. The PU fits nicely. If we were to purchase a hybrid (or anything else), we would have to put it in an RV storage lot. We are not interested in doing that. The inconvenience and expense are just not acceptable for us.

In 2013, we will be moving into our house in Fallbrook, CA. We have RV parking there and will definitely be looking at different alternatives.

Just upgraded from tent camping to pop-up camping this season. No intentions of going to hybrid anytime in the near future.

No never! This "fold-a-box-out-into-a-house" thing is just too much fun!  Plus I can see over and around it while driving and backing, and it fits anywhere.  Not mention how nice it is to be able to manuever it around by hand in the CG or here at home.

Popups Forever for us too!

We moved up from a popup to popping out (HT)about 2 years ago now I want to move into a real queen sized bed and be able to walk around it...we need a bigger trailer possibly with quad bunks...so the kids will have their own space and I will have mine.  We are looking at all our options whether it be a trailer, toyho, or motorhome I an not sure.  What would be the best for us?  I have to look at them all.

Considering we just got our 1st PUP we aren

LimeJeeeep

already went to a hybrid

Moved to the tt in July.

Never thought we would get beyond the popups (4 of them) but then came the htt and now the tt.

Main reason has been difference in camping and travelling needs as we got more mature (age wise). :)

Not me ... unless it might be one of those teardrop T@B hardsiders and then I'd have to come across an exceptional bargin.

I've been downsizing now for years. Started out with a 28' AirStream and have worked my way down ever since. My 8' box Starcraft does exactly what I want it to do, is an easy tow and should I have to return to towing with a four banger, I'm still in the ball park. What's more, the little PU stores easy and I can still move it around by hand ... alone.

I'm a happy camper right where I'm at.

We just moved to a hybrid a few weeks ago.   My mom came to live with us after a massive stroke and she is in a wheel chair.  The PU was very limited on space inside to move her around but we loved the openness of the PU.  We looked at several options and finally settled on the hybrid.  Still have the tent ends we can open up, but yet much more floor space to get around with mom!

Is this a hard copy magazine for sale at the newstand?
