Hi Lisa,

We will probably not be able to get down there until Friday evening so my girls might miss the coloring of Easter eggs.  Can I bring eggs already colored and donate them for the Easter egg hunt?  This is our first time going on the Easter Rally so I am not up on the routine.  Let me know.  Thanks.

The campground does the egg decorating...and they only decorate like one.  What you want to do is make sure you bring 12 filled, plastic eggs for Easter morning for each of your girls....so the Easter Bunny can visit your campsite.

The schedule posted is the campground's schedule of events.  :-)  Oh, make sure you bring like dollars bills and such...they charge like 50 cents and up for crafts.

And, Dee is right.  No morning potluck on Saturday.  My mind has totally been elsewhere lately, sorry.  But, we will have an evening potluck.  And, for those of us staying until Monday....for Sunday night, I like Dee's idea of bring your own meat to grill and a simple side dish....for whoever wants to participate.

Hey Lisa

on the 12 filled eggs are we filling them for our specific kids or are we just bringing a doz. per kid and putting a random doz. eggs per kid on their site?

that latter is easier, but we can do it either way. if everyone wants their own eggs to go to their own kids then please  put them in a bag labeled with your SCCampers name on it. This way the Easter bunny won't get confused...

Shirleen & other newbies to this campout. The Sat. morning egg hunt is sponsored by the campground and is like any public egg hunt.. a mass swarm of kids running and picking up eggs Thousands are gone in mere seconds :yikes:

the 12 YOU are bringing is for Easter morning. when your kids get up they will find that the easter bunny has left them some eggs in their site. everyone hunts them on their own time and on their site only...

Oh, forgot...doesn't the candy in the filled eggs needs to be wrapped....so critters and such don't ruin the candy overnight?

Doesn't matter to me the way we do the eggs....I just don't like my kids having jelly beans and other chewy-gooey types of candy....so the Easter Bunny doesn't bring those for my kids (only chocolate types of candy).  So, if I am the only anal one....I can just do my kids' eggs.

Yes, the egg hunt is hard for the older kids.  The hunt for the little ones, younger than 6, isn't bad.

What is the status with our site numbers? It is getting closer & I am sure curious where we will be? What is the earliest we can come in and not have to wait at the main office.

Planning on posting sites tonight....just made a few switches since a couple of people have made some changes to their length of stay.  :-)

Sites are posted on the first thread!  :-()

Okay.  I am having surgery on Friday....so I may not be on the boards very often, depending on my recovery (simple surgery, a most likely benign tumor on my back/shoulder).  Just wanted to let you know....so you don't think I am ignoring you.

For Sat. night potluck, I think we are making a mac n cheese with ham casserole.
