BTW, my sis is having a boy in October...I had mentioned the name Griffin 4 months ago, but, I was poo-pooed. Well, as of last week, it got on the list! Right now, it is between Griffin and Cooper. However, we all think he is going to come out and just be Jake. We'll know on October 22nd!

I liked the name Cooper too, but kids will turn that into "Pooper" on the playground. Jake is a good, strong name, but there are a whole bunch of little j
Jakes running around out there. I say .......GRIFFYNDOR! :D

Yep, I brought up Pooper Cooper.  At one point, they had Tucker...and we all gave it a rhyme...so it was out quick.  Actually, what my sis is more worried about with Cooper is Mini Cooper....her hubby is quite, uh, well, let's just say he is a bit short on stature..but makes up for it by being a great guy.  Oh, the suspense!  Her first pick until a couple of weeks ago was Brody.  But, she thought about how it would be to be a 45 year old man named Brody...she didn't like that.  And, being called Bro all the time.  So, Griffin was added to the ranks!   Griff, for short, is still cool!  Yahoo!

It's a big responsibility to pick a name for a little person who isn't even here yet.  You don't want him/her to be picked on at school or be called names so we as parents do our best to stop it before it happens.  Matt was always Matt and Josh was always Josh but when it came to Sarah, she was almost Ashlyn Nicole.   What changed things was that everyone was calling here Ashley and I kept  correcting them.  We didn't want her going through life correcting her name so we named her a safe name Sarah.  After naming Sarah, we are now being asked if it's Sarah with an "H".

Lisa you had that wonderful "C" name for you.  My name in junior high was bubble butt which do this day, I am very insecure about my bottom.  I also had "How Much Do I Charge" written in permanent marker on my locker.  I don't know where that came from but the Togood twins got in trouble for that.    OOH those wonderful memories of adolensence.

Family RVer, This is whats known in the Messageboard world as Hi-Jacking a thread. It's when a particular thread is started with a topic and then the topic is taken over by someone else talking about something totally different than the original topic starter wanted too .  The only way to combat this is to let your forum moderator know about it.  Oh, wait, the moderator.......doh!!  :Z

Oh, I am sorry.  Kids are cruel...girls are the meanest!  But, most of us grow up...and some of us become great friends and camping buddies!

We have all been there, we have all survived and we have all been picked on at one time or another..except maybe Brian...:)I've heard it all for most of my life with the last name...COX...we'll leave it at that...this is a family site..ha ah. We all survive it and laugh at it later.
