Quote from: waveryOK....I went to the site and there are a couple of choices and lots of availability. Do you think that it may be important that we all choose the same section?

There is, "STAN DEV 25FT Nonspecific+ Standard"

and

There is, "STAN DEV 35FT Nonspecific+ Standard"

They are all the same price but I think that we may get split up if we make different selections....I don't know  .....just a thought :D .

Then again, the larger sites may be interspersed among the smaller sites.:eyecrazy:

Anyone have any ideas  ..Which sites did you guys choose?
We are in the 35 ft. sites...we need a skoetch (sp?) more room (anybody remember that Levi's commercial?)

We're confirmed too :-()

We are bringing the kayak, so we probably won't be doing Hearst Castle (unless the weather is really bad).

We've been wanting to do Morro Bay for a long time. :sombraro:

A word of warning as well, Morro bay has a few eucalyptus trees left, if you end up under one, it will make a mess of the top or your trailer, I just spend a day cleaning ours.
Thanks for the "Heads-up". We will bring a tarp to put over the camper, in case we get under one of those trees. I know what a mess they can make.

This trip sounds fun!  Thanks Chezway for suggesting it.  Marisol and I would like to attend, however, the baby will be 2 months old at that point and we are not sure if the time is right.  We are going to play it by ear and see if it works.  Do you think we should reserve just in case and cancel if necessary?

Let us know - we had a great time at Dogwood, lets do it again! :D

OC Campers

Babies love camping.   Matthew was 6 weeks old when we took him camping.  At 2 months old, all they do is sleep, eat and poop.  That can be done anywhere:D .

You might want to keep an eye on the reservation availability:

I just checked and there are 31 (35') sites available. If that # drops to 10 or so and you are still considering going, you may want to book a site, just in case.

I had to come out of lurkdom when I saw that you're coming to my neck of the woods!

You'll have a great time. The kayaking is wonderful here and the park is near the Natural History Museum, which is interesting for all ages. Lots of good fun and good food to be had nearby. Now just keep those fingers crossed for good weather!

Yes we are keeping our fingers crossed for good weather!  However, since we are ScCampers we are ready and have experienced every possible weather condition and still manage to have a good time.

Now that you are out of lurkdom, where is your neck of the woods?

Countdown for this rally is about to begin!   We're campin' in '08!

Just in case anyone might be considering this (small intimate) rally....there are lots of sites left. You may even be able to pull off a last minute ride up the coast.

Is anyone leaving late Friday???? I will go up Friday morning if Carolyn could hitch a ride with someone. She could meet you somewhere and leave her car (hopefully someone will steal it :p ). It would have to be after 5:30PM though :(

I just thought that it wouldn't hurt to put it out there.  :sombraro:
