A tent and a utility trailer I'm sure would be a lot cheaper and do the same thing.

A tent and utility trailer will get you sleeping off the ground?

Okay a tent, utility trailer and air matress.

It's a cute concept and could probably be towed with a motorcycle. However.....the first good wind and that thing is toast :yikes:

I did notice that their setup demo video did not unhook it from the tow vehicle.  maybe it needs that to stay down.  :eyecrazy:

The first thing the guy did in the video was to lower a stabilizer on the back side, I would assume there's one on each corner. I'm not sure what it cost, but it sure seems like a waste of money.

Stabilizers or no stabilizers......that thing will blow over and away in a 25MPH wind. That is regular (rip-stop) nylon tent material, like the tents that you see blow away at every camp-out that there is a wind. That material is exactly the same material that they make sailboat spinnakers from. They have more power in a light wind than you can imagine. In a heavy breeze, they can be a nightmare. I have seen them blow over a 20-ton sailboat.

A regular tent on a utility trailer would be much safer. At least the tent would not be supported by sturdy uprights (like the mast on a sailboat) and would be allowed to be blown flat in a heavy breeze. Not so with this trailer. That nylon will capture all of the wind and plow that trailer over like a toy.

That trailer will just be one big sail in a stiff breeze (IMHO).
