manual for 1985 venture

I have a 1985 Venture (not a Starcraft Venture) in which I've been trying to access an owners manual, with no luck. I looked in popupportal.com, perhaps the best online manual search, with no luck. Specifically, I need a wireing diagram, as the previous owner (it appears) tried to bypass the four 6 amp fuses by splicing directly into the green, red, brown and white wires just "rear" of the fusebox located behind the hitch. I also can not figure out how to work the heater, although the previous owner swears it works well. This oldie still has potential and is definatly not beyond "fixer upper" status. I replaced the cable on 2 lift arms (12.00 and 1 1/2 work altogether for 35' of 3/32 cable and splicing grommets was all it took, vise the 430.00 estimate at a dealer. Any help of advice would be greatly appreciated.
