One very smart option would be to install "Heat Strips" in your AC, presuming they are available for it. I don't know of any units that don't, but you never know.

The Carrier Air V is available with or without the heating option, but you can not add the heating option after the fact.  You have to buy a new inside unit if you want to add heat to a cool only unit.

Is there good fishing around the park that I can reach in my yak? I've never been there before. It'd be nice to hang a striper when I'm there and go on a sleigh ride, but I'm sure all teh big boys are down by the towers.

I bought a little ceramic cube heater to pack away in the camper, but I'm also going to see abouit heat strips for my AC unit. I'm not sure if it's a Carrier or not, but thanks for the info TLHDoc. That might just have saved me some money and aggravation.
