Okay, after determining that most central Florida dealers are worse than any used car salesman I've ever met, (no offense to car salesmen!) we paid a few hundred dollars more and went with our local dealer 10 miles from home.  (One actually told me over the phone after quoting MSRP, "No Lady I don't have to do better than that, that's the price.  You can beat it, go for it" and hung up on me!  Our local dealer spent hours and hours with me and had lots of patience with all my newbie questions.  Saved us the 8 hour drive to PECO, which would have been my next choice.

Our 2007 Fleetwood Santa Fe with a/c will be joining our family on Monday!  I actually spent more time PUP shopping than I did shopping for our home!  (Of course the upside is by this time, DH said, here's your budget, as long as it fits in the garage, I don't care what you get!)  I did compromise my wants with our needs.  It is 15'2" closed and our garage is over 19' so DH was quite happy.

I passed on the option for the casette potty and will add a porta-potty.  Does anyone know if a Thetford 135 will fit in the porta-potty cabinet by the door?

Yippee!

Congrats!!!!!!

I bought my 1997 Coleman Santa Fe brand new and have loved it from day one. I hope you get as much enjoyment out of yours as we have ours.

Congratulations!

Our 2000 Coleman/Fleetwood Bayside has visited hundreds of campgrounds in 28 states, rolled down over 30,000 miles of highway, been over 9,000 feet high, been dragged through 110

Austin, that sounds fantastic!  We have been to quite a few of the national parks and tried to book cabins in the park or close by.  That has been a challenge for someone with allergies and asthma.  I am so looking forward to an environment I can control!  The woods don't bother me nearly as much as perfume, cigarettes and chemicals!

It was muggy and miserable (mid 90's) here in flat Florida today.  I can't wait to visit hills and cool weather!  On the upside, we're considering spending a week at Christmas on the beach if I can find an available campsite!
