I have a 1999 viking legend 2460st and my problem is that my rear end bed posts are poping out from underneath the bed when we are on it at night!! They seem to lift and pop out from where they attach on top of the rear panel, not from the bottom. We are not very big persons. Some help would be appreciated cause I dont know what to do.

Is the rear wall rotted at the corners and being allowed to flex outward with the weight of the bed cantilevered over it?

If it were mine, I'd level it, set it up in camp driveway, have my wife climb into the bunk and then stand outside and watch what happens as she moves around.

My Starcraft has metal tabs riveted to the underside of the bunk plywood and these dove-tail into the horizontal bed support to keep the support stable. Then the business end of the horizontal support has a claw that reaches over the top of the box wall to engage a bracket.
