Where do you want to go this weekend?  Sara isn't camping, so she is not picking a campground.  Fire away with suggestions.  I would like electric so I can run electric heat if needed.:)

I'm going to Rocky Gap the last week of October.  I'll stay through the weekend if you want to come down this way.

Nancy what dates are you going to be there?:)

I am staying 5 nights.  It doesn't matter to which nights they are.  If anyone wants to stay there I will go Wed-Mon.  If not I will probably go Tues-Sun.  You cannot reserve sites this time of the year.  However, they have one entire loop with electric.  I could probably save spots since I will be there early.

Sorry, if it were the following weekend I might be able to make it (veteran's Day Weekend). But it is a little (no a lot) too far for a weekend and I am running low on vacation time.

Paula is Harmony Ridge in Branchville, NJ too far for you for a weekend?:)

DiW

Tracy, Let me know if you're going to be at Harmony Ridge. Not sure we'll be camping again this fall (weekends are a bit busy) but I'm definitely interested in  meeting you guys for a dinner out or a campfire.

Looks to be about 3 hour plus or minus depending on NYC traffic/NJ Garden state TP Traffic, because Yahoo routes me just to the west of NYC. I am 3 hours of hard driving, NOT towing to Newburgh NY, if that is any indicator. I am about 3 hours from Scranton via NE Extension.

IF I took of early on a Friday, it is doable, I rarely drive at night and do not drive after dark on unfamiliar roads and do not tow at night even if roads are familiar.

Also I forgot grandbaby Ryan's 1rst BD party is Veteran's day weekend. so the second weekend is out.  I promised my #2 (by birth order) son that I would not schedule anything for that weekend.  bad grandma...bad for forgetting the BD.

I am going to Harmony Ridge with Dee106 this weekend, November 2 to the 5th.  I am not sure if I will get there Friday or Saturday.:)

DiW

I will try to drive over there sometime that weekend to visit but Kelsey has Homecoming Dance on that Sat night and maybe a soccer game on Friday so I'll have to wait & see. I'll be in touch. Glad you picked somewhere close to me. Maybe Andy & Helga can join us.

paula, you don't go near  nyc , take 295, or the nj turnpike, to 440/280/ 287e across to 80e to 15n to 206n

SheBantam

How long does it take you all to get to the Delaware Memorial Bridge from Harmony Ridge, Towing, on a Friday afternoon? Turnpike can be heck on the weekends where the merges are.

Raymond thinks this is too far for a normal weekend and he has more dental work (they found jawbone that they have to "polish off") that will be done next week, so he does not want to go and he feels better if I stay around, in case he needs me.  he is more nervous about this than he was the major work, because his mouth is just now to where he can eat relatively normal, albeit soft, foods.

dee106

towing about three hours

Have to say no this time around. Raymond wants to stay home and would feel better if I did too, with the extra surgery he is having on Tuesday.  So I will.
