Marisol and I want to thank all of you!  It turned out to be more difficult than we had thought.  We went to the hospital at 7 am (at this point marisol was already 3 to 4 cm dialated and having mild contractions.)  At 11 am they started the induction with protocin (spelling), at 2/3 pm the doctor broke through the membrane holding the water surrounding the baby. The doctor stated that this would move things along more quickly.  By 7 am the next day - Marisol was about 6 - 8 cm dialated but the baby had not droped.  Furthermore, Marisol developed a fever of 101.5 and the baby's heart rate climbed to 225 bpm.  This truned out to be more risky than we realized and the doctor ordered a c-section right now.  By 7:30 Marisol was on the table (I by her side) and she was under the knife.  At 8:11 am on Tuesday Ronin Louis Holcomb was born!  Subsequently, Marisol, Ronin and I remained at the hosiptal until Friday 11-23 at which point we went home gladly!

So, to all of you - thanks for welcoming us to the SCCAMPERS and I can not wait for you to meet our new sccamper.
