Hey guys,
I just got off the phone with Estelle and Kent. They were forced out this AM at 7:30 - currently they are at a friend's condo in Carlsbad at the beach. The Hardees are also evacuated (they are neighbors). Right now, the neighborhood is fine and looks like they can all return tomorrow morning. They said to thank everyone and to let everyone else affected to know that they are thinking about them, too!
 
Wow! This is downright unbelievable. Stay safe everyone - we are praying for that. (Now let's all join in the SCCAMPER rain dance!)

I'm glad to hear about Estelle and Sue. I've been thinking and praying for them all day. Thanks for letting us know, Kristi.

Be careful what you offer. If I move into your trailer, I can't promise you that I'd ever move out.  It's nicer than my home!!!

I'm watching Foothill Ranch on TV. It really doesn't look good. I can't believe that they aren't evacuating that area. Obviously they know better than I but it just occurs to me that if they start evacuating, it could be chaos. :eyecrazy:

If you need a place to go, I'd be happy to give you a furnished 2 BR apt that I have right now. I could watch Griff while you are at work tomorrow.

Lori and Dave...you are in my thoughts.  My friend Sheryl lives there, too...on Montecito.  She teaches in Ladera, and her office told her at 10 am to go home and pack up.  She is staying with her aunt in Coto for the night (her hubby is out of town).

Just got home from work..and I'm pooped..Kevin & Todd I'm glad you are home, I was worried about you guys all day.

all nite while I was at work I was worring about my fellow SCCampers glad everyone is safe. an e-mail from my friend Jill this afternoon says she is ok, but I'm still worried..
Off to watch the news so I can worry even more.

I heard a blurb on TV this morning that 100 homes have been lost in Running Springs. There are only 400 homes up there so it doesn't look good for Carolyn's daughter.

It's so hard to find information on any one area.

I can't find anything out on Fallbrook. Last I heard, there was a problem with looting :swear: .

My brother just called. His neighbor is a Border Patrol Guard and is allowed in the area. He told my brother that his house is still standing but Fallbrook is on fire.

My brother told me that he was told that 500 homes have burned in Fallbrook. I can't verify that and I can't find anything about it on the news. If someone in SD County can tell me what their news stations are reporting, I would appreciate it. I don't want to go down there an become part of the problem.

Glad to hear at this time everyone is fine......Please remember we have space for you to park your trailers.......Our prayers go out to all of you and lets hope these fire storms get under control very soon.
Glad we left when we did don't know how we would have gotten home due to all the roads closed........It just felt right to leave it takes us so long to get the pup packed......Now all I do is sit and watch tv and worry about everyone in our scamper family......Be safe family first things last......God Bless
