Those are decent Sand rails, but,  when you take a buggy like that to the bumpy, rocky desert, when it set up for nice soft sand, guess what happens?
You have to have a car set up for the dez, then run that on soft sand.
We have a friend that has a car that he takes out to the dez when we go with him that has 4 seats, and an LS1 Corvette motor in it.  Trust me, thats a rush!

Quote from: mrsoreo57Bob...I feel for you, but how do you get gout in only one knee ???   :D

Be very careful...don't Vicodin and drive...you might hit something....AND NOT GIVE A D@#$ !!!    :yikes:

I do hope that you and you're FIL are feeling better.

I'm one of theunlucky nes that Vicodin makes me puke my guts literally out of my body. Erythromycin(sp?) does the same thing.

I've gone threw almost a full perscription of Darvecet in a little over a week , so Bob I do feel for you..

Dee, I want to thank you and everyone else who has sent their prayers and best wishes. I am truly grateful to have friends like you. I feel for you if you have taken that much Darvecet in that short of time!
I think I want to come over to your house for a refill!

I am never one to whine about my health but this past week has been not good! I have deveolped a case of "gout" in my right knee cap. Very painful. As some one told me the other day, Im falling apart! I have been out of work since last friday! That's my excuse. I am on the mend and eating lots of dried cherries seems to work the best!
So to all who read this, don't worry about me. If you want to say a prayer, include my Father-in-law Dann. He just had one of his kidneys removed on Monday. He is 85! He is in intensive care at Torrance memorial. Hopefully he gets out of the hospital on Saturday.
Bob, Really sorry to hear about this. I know how horribly painful Gout can be.....seems to be lots of stuff going around right now. My best friend was just diagnosed with stomach cancer.....man....I can hardly keep up with all the prayers. I'm gonna have to get knee pads.

 Hey Wayne,
Thanks for the prayers. But you know something, God can hear prayers while you are standing too! SO no need for knee pads! But if got them already I could use one for my right knee!

Ya, I know....I dune buggied for 10 years (1966-1976). I had a family buggy, a sand dragster and a (single seat) off-road racer. I raced in the 1973 Baja 500 and the 1975 Baha 1000. After that, it became all about $. That was because that jerk Parneli Jones got into it. It used to be fun before that.

This would be a fun craft. For the younger kids do maybe something like the Mr. Potatoe head idea of decorating their pumpkins. Your PM is a sound idea! It needs family participation, pumpkins and patience!
Quote from: waveryYou must have gone to the same school as Al Gore..... :p
Actually, it was Dan Quayle, not Al Gore, who couldn't spell potato correctly.
