Quote from: jendak760What is Catos? And what are the Marshmallow shooters people keep mentioning?

Cato,s is a private smokehouse.  They are very busy and only can only acomodate a small clientel.  the brisket will take two days to smoke and fully cure.  It is the best texas style barbecue I have ever tasted.

As for the shooters they are whay it sounds like.   A pvc blow gun that shoots mini mashmellows.

Those sound cool. Did you make them yourself or buy them?

Okay cool!!!  :)

Does anyone happen to have the plans for them? Those would be cool to make. I could pickup the supplies before we head up there. (Nevermind, I found directions on the internet to make these.)

Is anyone heading up from the San Diego area Friday after work? Or am I the only one?

Gracy

 Are ya'll talkin about "scooters" the drink, the guns or something you ride?

hahahah!!!  Because all of the above, at the same time sound awesome! :D

Quote from: Crowbar4Heather asked me to take care of the pot luck for her so I,m bringing what I like. I am having Cato,s Smokehouse in Carlsbad make us a beef brisket and I am bringing some fresh maco shark steaks (just caught off our coast). Also if it,s not too late sign us up for pancake breakfast and add chris hively fam too.

Instead of marshmellow shooters I thought we could all bring our rifles and take the kids deer hunting. Gonna go get my liscense today. Who,s with me. I like to get really drunk before I give a kid a rifle, it relaxes me , Rednecks unite !!!
LOL...YUMMM & YIKES!!!   yumm for the maco shark steaks...gotta get me some of that!
yikes is for: ya better run for cover if you don't want any buckshot in your drawers!!

The lowest price inflatable screen is $200, then it bumps up to $750.

Well I have seen them for a little less on epay.  And I was "kind of" volunteering some of the rally shirt profits for the purchase...

Na, I helped out a little with the projector too when we made the SCCampers shirts.  I paid a donation to my school, some to sccampers and some to me.  THinking of doing the same thing here.

I will keep an eye out and see if I can find one for cheap....

I probably don't know what I'm talking about but the projector has always been behind the screen, does that matter??
