Very nice baby, where is it now? Another favorite classic of mine.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I sold it to buy an SUV.... I always wish I had kept it though it was the best car ever :(

Our Thanks to everyone!

[/FONT]Laura, we have you and your family in our prayers.

This year was full of surprises! That is in keeping with the theme of "Trick or Treat"!

We hope that you all had a great time!
A special thanks to Trina (Camping coxes) for the additional griddle. It came in very handy. Next year we need to remember Laddles! To Dieter for his production of this years shirts! For the spooky haunted house which everyone who went thru, loved! The crafts project of carving with Kristi and all the kids and parents who joined; great show of imagination! I could go on and on but you know that I mean when I say Thanks to everyone again. Lastly Trina wants to say Thanks for indulging her with the group picture. Speaking of pictures, all 133 that Trina took of this rally are now up and on our webshots! Just click the link below our signature. I've owned every car on your list except a few twists. I never owned a Mustang, my El Camino was '72, my VW Van (Blue & white) was a '72 (had a 2180CC engine with dual Webber carbs. 210HP @ 9500RPM).

My favorite car of all time is a 1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk. I'll own another one some day.

It came with a 289 supercharged V8 and had a top speed of 160MPH. It was the fastest (top-speed) production car of it's era. My father used to collect them.

I'm drooling just thinking about all those awesome cars.  personally the GTO and the Camaro are my favorites.  Howwever two of the tractors I have are vintage.  One is a mid 50's Farmall C, and the other is a mid 30's John Deere B.  the JD has no starter or electrical system.  It has magneto ignition and the fly wheel is external with hand grips on it.  you line up the marks on the wheel and heeve-ho.  The cluth is also external and hand operated.  the brakes are outside and above the axles.  lots of ways to lose body parts on this baby!!!

Getting back to the Rally!  ha ha.  I was looking at the Tractor at Faulkner farms that the kids were climbing on, and thinking it would be cool to restore.  It was an old Ford tractor.  I was trying to figure out what all the levers did...  I thought with a battery and a new carb, it would probably fire right up!!  right....

That tractor looked like a 9N.  their a dime a dozen.  Every farmer in America had a Ford tractor like that.  Most just sit and wait to be loved again.  And your probly right just a battery and carb cleaning with some top end oil to free up the rings and away you go.  I just restored a Allis Chalmers 101 that sat for 18+ years and did little more than that to get it running.  Many people keep telling themselves I'll fix that old tractor up someday and never do.  The deals are out there.
