need help thermostst

thermostst was broken took it off someone told me i could bypass it by connecting the two wires i did that the blower and the heater came on worked well for a bout 2 min then it blew a fuse tried it again same thing does anyone know why this might be blowing the fuse after a couple of minutes .Thanks for any ideas

if it is two wires it should not have blown a fuse .the tstat that was scraped off the wall what functions did it have ?

Motor is pulling to much amperage to blow the fuse. Gas burner pulls no volts.

It could be something as simple as dirt or paper or any other # of things sucked up into the blower impeller, causing it to work too hard. It could also be that the motor is flat worn out (but I doubt it). It could also be a hot wire (black) shorting out somewhere.
