Please pass it on.  I'm the first one to admit my stuffing leaves a lot to be desired!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

(Maybe we can say it in person to each other next year....just throwing that out there....) :sombraro:

and I was out the door at 3:15 AM to go shoping and home and in napland by 10:30 :yikes:

Did you find any great deals?  The one thing I wanted was gone.  But, I still got a few people taken care of and some extra things just because it was a good deal...like a new wine bottle opener.  :-)

I know what you mean Lori.  Sarah loves to help cook but I know I can go faster and do it neater than she but I have to remember that she's a beginner and that she's trying her best.  Sarah helped daddy make his famous pumpkin pie, stuffed celery and with the sweet potatoes.

My family came from Palm Springs for the 2nd year in a row.  My step mom  passed away a couple years ago and since then, things haven't been the same on their end.  It was nice having my 2 brothers, dad, mom (divorced), (luckily, they get along NOW), nephew, aunt and MIL there.  Everyone had a nice time and left fat and sassy.

Hope everyone had a Happy Gobble Day. We just got back from Acapulco, this is our first time ever going away like this on Thanksgiving, I think my first year ever without turkey. We had a blast, weather was perfect and the food was great. It worked out perfect and I got to spend my Birthday while in Acapulco. I hope everyone had a great Holiday and we will see you all soon on the next camp out.

Well, T-day went well, just 8 of us...and the backed up sink...of course about the time my brother decided to help with dishes and shoved the garbage disposal full of crap...needless to say...Brad did all the dishes by hand and we rinsed them in the bathtub since we could not use the kitchen sink...then Friday left for Brad's mom's house, we installed four replacement windows on Saturday for her...and back home...to the backed up sink problem...Well, after hours of Brad trying, we will wait for the plumber tomorrow...I told him we should just open the PU in the driveway, hook up the water and let's live there!  NO!  Oh well...hopefully tomorrow we will have kitchen plumbing...just a typical T-Day!

We are thinking of going back in June for the "Balloon & Wine Festival":

It might be fun to have a self-service rally. However, I would strongly recommend AC that time of the year. The Avg high temp for June is 92 with an avg low of 54:

The weather was perfect for Thanksgiving. It was cold at night (30s) and warm during the day (70s).

I have been considering visiting the Riverside County parks for some time, just have never got around to it! :p

In the past, I have heard reports of much dirt and wind, and little shade, from the Lake Skinner campground.  But the recent Webshots look nice!

Here is their reservation link!

Looks nice!  I'd be game to go in April if you think it won't be too hot then.  My Spring break is from the 7-11, and it looks pretty open.  Anyone interested?

We had a great T-Givng.  The in-laws came in on Wed.  We had our dinner on Thursday. My FIL and I took the loaded Hauler out to Dove Springs and left it with the group. We hung out Friday and went out for a steak dinner that night.  The in-laws left at 4:30am on Saturday and we took off to Dove Springs.  I have to say Ashlee made me so proud on Saturday.  We rode from our camp to the Jawbone Store, 17 miles there, and 17 miles back, and she did so well.  She went up hills, down hills, and kept up a pretty fast pace as well.  Needless to say, she napped after we got back.  The bad news was Sunday morning Ashlee was riding a track next to where we were camped and kinda went off the track into a bush and was almost a member of the "Over the Bars Club".  She's ok though.  The store we rode to had a live band that played in a Beer Garden of sorts.  They had food, beer and live music, what else could you ask for.

Like they say, "Any landing that you can walk away from is a good landing.... :p ". I'm sure glad that she's OK....I'll bet Dad's heart stopped for a second or two though :yikes: .
