Once in a while you get shown the light.............

I saw the thread and was about to post "Grateful Dead".

Before I could I saw your logo......

.....In the strangest of places if you look at it right.....

I don't know if I would ever call them a hobby, but I was able to catch 4 shows (Richfield OH x2, Deer Creek IN x1, and Columbus (Polaris) x1)  Not bad for someone who was just out of High School when Jerry died.

Just to update you LJ,

I am in the middle of tearing down a couple of axles from an old '86 Wagoneer (Dana44 front, AMC 20 rear) to swap out under my Wrangler.

Speaking of Dead shows, the first time DH & I had a 'real' date (as opposed to hanging out around the neighborhood, friends' houses, etc. (neither of us had a car back then)) was when we went to see them at the Spectrum on 31 Mar 87. In the words of one of the local dj's, "God Bless The Grateful Dead"!

Other hobbies:  time with my boys (ages 10 & 12), playing music (I play violin, guitar, sing in a choir, and am teaching myself piano - DH sings in choir too, plays keyboards and electric bass), also enjoy listening to music (especially Yes, Rush, ELP, Duke Ellington, Mendelssohn, Dead, and 'Standards'), making pysanky (Ukrainian Easter Eggs), gardening, birding (I am one of those fanatics who carry mini binocs with me at all times), being a beach bum, and shooting the breeze yakking with DH.

I think the biggest pursuit of mine is trying to find more time to enjoy all of the above! :D

This is going to be of interest to LimeJeep and a couple of other offroaders on the board.  I made a webpage for my Jeep conversion
