Well, things didn't pan out for the Scout camp. No money to run the program so we were going to have move somewhere. Over Thanksgiving our son in Colorado called and said his rental house was available to rent. And the kicker was after Paula contacted a Scout employee who moved to Colorado to ask if there were any job openings. She said yes and yesterday she was offered a job and she starts January 2. Now I have to readup on winterizing the popup.

We'll miss everyone, but now we have an opportunity to meet new camping friends.

Our best to all,

Moose and Mrs. Moose

Congratulations Moose & Mooset!  I know you will enjoy your new surroundings and visiting places you haven't been before.  We will miss your cooking.

You and Paula are very personable people and will get the most from your new home.

Good Luck you guys.  We will miss your company and your DO Pizza.   Buy some heavy jackets, that pink stuff they say you need to winterize your pup with......whatever winterize is.....  And post some pics of your new surroundings.  Guess you will be giving up that spot for Santa Paula next year, that stir things up!

Chez Way

Sounds like you are in for a new adventure!  We really enjoyed camping with you over the years.  Thanks again for the Dutch Oven 101 class, all the  recipes and the many pot luck meals.

Have fun in Colorado and stay warm!

Congrat OldMoose, Colorado is a beautiful place!! We lived in Denver for 2 years. I would suggest some snow shoes though, they do get alot of snow. I remember the first time we met you, it was on our maiden voyage to the Mojave Narrows, it was a Saturday night at the pot luck dinner, your son made sausage and peppers and you made pizza and a blue berry pear cobbler, all was to die for!!! Anyway you and your family invited us over to you PU to eat our dinner with you and your family, my wife and i thought this is what camping out is all about, meeting new friendly people that are just looking to enjoy other peoples company and have a good time and enjoy the great outdoors!!! This is why we love to camp so much!! Thank You  OldMoose,..........Ed C.   :sombraro:

Hey!  We've all got an excuse to go camping in Colorado now!  With the bigger car I can make it up those "hills" -- with someone pushing from behind!!

I'm NOT saying good-bye, just, "see you later!"

Camp Josepho is still open for business. There is a full time ranger, Mike, who lives there. It was my program that was canceled.
