This is what we use and love them.  We use the dc powered version and they just pin to the inside of the mattress.

Jay, Becasue of the differences in all our camping styles, my  best advice is for you to camp in your driveway for a weekend and write down all the things you decided you need.  As you have more experience camping with your PUP you can add and subtract things that you need or don't need.

Now I know that was not the answer you were looking for so here is what I think is the must haves (they do not include items like pots, plates and linen).  I will also give the total list that you might want to consider.

TOP 20 MUST HAVES
1.  12 volt fuses and bulbs
2.  Flash light and extra batteries and/or propane lantern
3   Volt meter
4.  Three stage automatic battery charger
5.  Two 25 foot white water hoses
6.  Water Pressure regulator
7.  Fresh water containers
8.  Gray water container and hoses
9.  Black water treatment chemicals
10. Gloves and sanitizer
11. Automobile Tool kit plus small pipe wrench and rubber mallet
12. Jack and lug tool to change the PUP tires AND SPARE
13. Good tire pressure gauge
14. Air compressor
15. Tire chocks for PUP and tongue jack wheels
16. Something to level the PUP (Lynx blocks, wood blocks or BAL Leveler)
17. Level
18. Small ladder or bucket
19. First aid kit
20. Long neck lighter

THE TOTAL LIST

Electrical
1.  Extra 30 Amp extension cord - 30 foot
2.  Heavy duty 15 Amp extension cord

Very important, dont forget to take a Torque Wrench to check the lugs on your PU, you dont want a wheel coming loose. As far as gear for your PU, go to the dollar stores and Goodwill stores, you dont need to spend a fortune on your gear. I think alot of people here have done this same thing, you'll be surprised at what you'll find............Ed C.

Ed, Good catch on the torque wrench.  The other thing I forgot to add is tongue ball grease.  Both should be added to the "Must Haves" list.
