Well, after reading Viking's news, I get to share the news that we will be bringing our new "daughter" to meet you all at future campouts!  I just got a call yesterday that Dan and I have been approved and selected to be the legal guardians (and hopefully someday adoptive parents) of a former student of mine.  She is 9 years old, in the 4th grade and just absolutely wonderful.  It is, by far, the easiest birth of all of our children!!!!  We now have kids in grades 2,4,6 and 8.  :-()

Ok, I have to admit I almost fell over in my chair when I saw the name of your post.:p  That is wonderful news!!! I am soo happy for you. We can't wait to meet her. She couldn't have a better family.

Kristi,  Congrats to you and the whole family, two boys, two girls...I have to sit back and really contemplate all that seems to be happening on this board...my oldest is 22 and I am not ready to be "grandma" and I am not ready to have any additions (but we sure like trying) to the family...but we are very happy for all of you and Viking and his new addition....I have to laugh...I raise kids for a living....I am ready to retire!

Ah, and just this morning I was begging Brandon about having another baby....and he told me he got the name of a snipper this week. :mad: But, he did make me banana pancakes this morning!

Thanks everyone!!! And thank you Bob for the reminder about the signature - we have the bunk beds set up, the closet cleaned out and now we're off to X-mas shop for her.  She is going to LOVE being a SCCAMPER kid!

The coolest thing for this little girl is she's not living with "strangers," since she knows Kristy already. And she has built in siblings who are her age, so she'll fit in so nicely. When you have three already, what's one more, right?
