At the 1976 National Organization of Women (NOW) the keynote speaker was Dr. Timothy Leary.  The big issue was the national struggle on the issue of the Equal Rights Ammendment (ERA)which failed to be ratified, in spite of an extended time length to the process.  None the less, Leary opened the convention with these words, "Women who aspire to be equal to men.....lack ambition."

I was at a love-in back in the day, I remember Dr. Leary saying turn on, tune in, and drop out, and listening to Jerry and the Dead, Moby Grape and others. Soon we were all sucking on sugar cubes. I don't remember anything after that other than dancing around with flowers in my hair. Not long after that I was shipped out to Nam after college to fight Mr. Nixon's war.

No ToyHo for me.  I sent Paul a link for four different trailers on RVTrader, and told him that's what I wanted for Christmas.  I don't see it under the tree yet though.
